Attorney from Universidad del Rosario, holds an LL.M. in Corporate Law from the London School of Economics and a Master of Liberal Arts (ALM) in Finance from Harvard University.
Alberto has advised clients on M&A transactions for over 15 years at firms such as Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría, Norton Rose Fulbright, and Godoy. Between 2019 and 2023, he served as General Counsel of Polymath Ventures.

A graduate of Universidad de los Andes with an MBA from EAE Business School in Madrid, Spain. He has over 10 years of experience advising on venture capital, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate law, and compliance, having worked at firms such as Pérez-Llorca Colombia (Gomez-Pinzon) and entities such as the Superintendence of Corporations, among others.
Prior to joining Balam Legal, he led investment and acquisition processes in the United States, the Cayman Islands, and various countries across Latin America at the Venture Capital fund Polymath Ventures.

He is a graduate of Universidad del Rosario Law School and a specialist in Commercial Law with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Northwestern University. With over 17 years of experience, he has worked in the energy and gas sectors, leading litigation, regulatory management, and legal risk prevention.
With an innovative approach, he combines regulatory expertise with a strategic vision to mitigate legal risks and strengthen corporate sustainability. His experience includes successful relationships with government authorities and communities.
Mateo Castro

David Suárez

He served as an Auxiliary Judge (Magistrado Auxiliar) of the Labor Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice from 2013 until June 2025, gaining unique expertise in the jurisprudential interpretation of Colombian labor law. Previously, he worked at López Asociados as an expert attorney in labor matters, social security, and collective labor law.
